Welcome to Community Christian Academy and thank you for your interest.
Community Christian Academy began operation in August of 1983. It was born out of a strong desire to provide a Christian school for not only the Community Family Church family but also the city of Independence and surrounding communities. We are a K-12 school that takes a Christ-centered approach to education. The school sits on 113 acres of property located minutes from downtown Independence. Community Christian Academy's campus also incudes:
- A full court gym
- Walking/Running Track
- Boys/Girls Locker rooms
- Playground
- Newly expanded cafeteria
- Chapel facilities
- Workout facility
The school is accredited through International Christian Accrediting Association, Non Public School Commission, AdvancED and National Council for Private School Accreditation. These accrediting organizations are recognized by the state of Kentucky.
As a family considers a partnership with Community Christian Academy, it is important that it is understood that we rely on the Bible as the inspired Word of God and foundation for all that we teach. Our goal is excellence in everything we do. Community Christian Academy has a rigorous academic program, which instills the disciplines and skills necessary for each of our students to become successful in life. We are concerned with the whole person: spiritually, academically, socially and physically.
I invite you to prayerfully consider whether Community Christian Academy is the school for your family. If you have a child in K-8th grade, we are not currenly offering tours unless you have already been accepted due to limited spots in those grades. If you have a student in 9th - 12th grades, we encourage you to contact us and set up a tour to see if Community Christian Academy is the right fit for your child and your family.
Sincerely,
Tara M. Bates
Principal
